Our guests usually choose to spend the biggest part of their day outside, making the most of the island’s wonderful tropical climate. However, at the end of a day of sun and sea, your room with refurbished bathroom is a cool, comfortable haven to return to.

These encompass the feel of a junior suite, equipped with everything you need to make your holiday as comfy and enjoyable as possible. All have genuine ocean views, so you can look forward to looking out over mesmerising Chwaka Bay. They’re all less than 70 metres from the beach and each room has either its own garden or a private balcony for those who wish to laze their days away…

Romantic Picnic - Breakfast or Lunchtime trip on a local Dhow to a private sandbank where you can enjoy either your breakfast or lunch.

Complimentary Bath Oils - (we have rooms with double showers or a single shower with a bath so bath oils only applicable in rooms with baths)

Romatic Dinner for two on the beach - We normally do seafood but this can be varied to suit your preferences.

We created a space for guests to chill out - reading a favourite book or enjoying a cocktail. When you’ve had enough of the sun, this is the ideal spot to put your feet up.

We have 10 first floor and 10 ground floor rooms. Downstairs have their own little garden and upstairs have a private balcony. Rooms are laid out with total relaxation in mind and contain all the creature comforts of home… The King size beds are huge and dressed with breatheable cotton sheets, blankets to give you the ultimate night’s sleep and mosquito netting that is set away from the bed (preventing that claustrophobic feeling). Rooms are airy as a result of the effortless decor and plenty of natural light.

Bathrooms

Many of our visitors regard our exquisitely, designed bathrooms in ivory and delicate shades of cream the outstanding feature of Michamvi. They’re of the highest standard and have everything the connoisseur desires for the ultimate washroom experience: luxury, walk-in double showers have been installed in 16 of our bathrooms, to ensure guests can have a relaxing shower after a day in the Zanzibar sun. The bathrooms are equipped with double basins and luxurious granite tops, with newly installed WCs. Wash away your caresin these airy, spacious oases…

Our restaurant serves buffet style breakfast between 07:30 and 09:30.
Lunch is served between 12:30 and 14:30.
A buffet dinner is served every evening between 19:30 and 21:30.
Once a week we have dinner around the pool, or on the beach, with entertainment from a local band.
A weekly Swahili dinner is served around the pool, followed by entertainment from a group of Masai.
Our bar is located right on the beach with comfortable lounge chairs and bar stools, perfect for watching the sunset.
We serve a wide variety of soft and alcoholic beverages.
We offer cable TV. All ice is made from pure bottled water and is perfectly safe for drinking.
Tea and coffee , together with cake and biscuits, is served daily between 16:00 and 17:00 at the bar
There is a large computer monitor with a slide show highlighting all the excursions on the island as well as an internet station with free internet access.
There is a computer station at the bar, with free internet access for all guests.
There are Board games and other entertainment available upon request.

RECEPTION

Reception is open from 07h00 until 22h00. There is a computer station at reception with free internet access for all guests and a small library. Flight confirmation is offered at no charge. Medical kit and over the counter medicines available
